    Immunological properties:

    • After being applied to the body of the vaccinated individual, the antigens present in the vaccine are recognized as extraneous elements and a number of defensive mechanisms in the body are activated (macrophages, opsonins, interleukins, B lymphocytes, etc.), in consequence of which specific antibodies against the antigen determinants contained in the vaccine start to form. The said mechanisms shall prevent from subsequent development of the infection after contagion.

    Indication:

    • For the active immunization of dogs against distemper, infectious hepatitis, infectious laryngotracheitis, parvovirosis and parainfluenza.

    Interaction:

    • The vaccine Biocan DHPPi can be used separately, simultaneously or jointly with other vaccines Biocan according to recommended vaccination scheme.

    Method of administration:

    • subcutaneously, preferably in zone behind the shoulder-blade.

    Storage:

    • Store in a dry and dark place at the temperature of 2 - 8 °C. Do not freeze! Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label. When diluted, the vaccine shall be used immediately.

    Shelf life:

    • 24 months

  • Administration and dosage:

    • The dose is 1 ml regardless of age, weight and breed of the individual, vaccination may be first performed during the sixth week of age.
  • Contraindication:

    • Total pyrexial disease

    Biocan M plus:
    • vaccine against Microsporum canis for dogs of age 8 weeks and above
    Biocan B:
     • vaccine against Lyme disease for dogs of age 12 weeks and above
    Biocan T:
    • vaccine against tetanus for dogs of age 12 weeks and above The vaccination scheme should be specified by the veterinarian in dependence on the infection situation and the level of the passive immunity obtained due to the colostric antibodies in the vaccinated individuals. Annual revaccination is recommended to maintain permanent immunity.

    Warning:

    • Only clinically healthy animals in a good nutrition condition can be vaccinated. Possible anti-parasitic treatment should be carried out at least 10 days before the vaccination. The vaccinated animals should not be trained or exercised for one week after the vaccination. When diluted, the vaccine shall be used immediately.

    Protection period:

    • Not intended for food animals.
